This season's highlights include:
FOOD & DRINK
As usual we present both classic reference and cookbooks with an original twist. This season's main paperback launches are of the bestselling Appetizers, Starters & Finger Food, and the definitive reference Fruit. Vegetarian Classics is the perfect collection of easy and economical meat-free recipes, and for lovers of Italian food who are watching their weight, there is the fabulous low-fat recipe collection Guilt-Free Italian. Taste of Asia is a guide to the ingredients, cooking techniques and enticing recipes of the Far East, which has sold over 100,000 copies in hardback. Every cook catering for a family will appreciate having 500 chicken recipes in one bumper volume, and finally, there is the release in a specially sized popular edition of Ruby Le Bois' Hot & Spicy Kitchen Handbook, which in large format has recorded sales to date of over 350,000 copies.
GARDENING
In this popular category we have a fantastic new book on growing organic fruit and vegetables by the wonderful Christine and Michael Lavelle, who were awarded the Garden Writers' Guild prestigious annual prize for a practical book when it was first published in hardback. There is a 320-page handbook directory of the best flowering plants, and practical step-by-step seasonal guides to what to do when in the garden.
NEW AGE & HEALTH
In the more mystical category we have new titles on dream interpretation, and western and eastern divination techniques in How to Tell the Future. Natural and alternative approaches to health are made accessible in Feel Better Naturally, and for women there are books on ayurvedic beauty secrets, and natural ways to increase your chances of conception. The world-renowned yoga and baby expert Francoise Barbira Freedman presents two complementary paperbacks on safe yoga in pregnancy and after childbirth.
HOME IMPROVEMENT & CRAFTS
Practical books give the low-down on decorating your home and garden with mosaics and paint, and furniture expert Billy Cook reveals how to give old tables and chairs a complete new lease of life.
