This season's highlights include:
AQUAMARINE
To be published in the prestigious Aquamarine range is Korean Cooking, a fabulous yet accessible guide to one of the hidden jewels of world cuisine. There are also paperback editions of the best-selling Barbecuing & Grilling by the innovative cook Linda Tubby and Water Effects in the Garden by Gilly Love, both of which were highly commended on first publication in hardback.
COOKING
Among the big books of the season are new category bibles on popular subjects and cuisines. The Irish Heritage Cookbook , The Food & Cooking of Greece, and The Food & Cooking of Africa & the Middle East are all show-stopping regional cookbooks, combining history with a guide to ingredients and fabulous recipes. There are also healthy twists on favourite cuisines, with volumes on low-fat Chinese and low-fat Mediterranean eating. There are cookery subjects every kitchen shelf needs and every family will love: here are brand-new bumper books of soups, salmon cooking, main course dishes, meat and poultry cooking, and desserts. Each is produced to the exceptionally high Lorenz standard over 150 step-by-step recipes; over 250 pages; and more than 600 colour pictures.
On an even more impressive scale are two new 500-page books, one on simple food with 400 four-ingredient recipes, and one an illustrated step-by-step reference to every kind of cocktail and mixed drinks. There is also the irresistible handbook-sized edition of Vegetarian Cooking

GARDENING
This season sees the publication of Richard Bird's impressive new illustrated practical encyclopedia on Pruning, Training & Topiary. Lorenz has won the Guild of Garden Writers' award for practical books twice in the past three years, and is proud to record the victory of Christine and Michael Lavelle for Organic Gardening in 2003. Richard's book follows in this series of Lorenz gardening classics, with over 1200 specially commissioned colour photographs and artworks. In addition, the list presents two fantastic 500-plus page compendiums on container gardening, and designing and decorating your garden and outside space.
NEW AGE & HEALTH
This season we publish comprehensive larger volumes offering everything you need to know about the popular subject areas of yoga, sex, massage and aromatherapy, and natural beauty. Each title is packed with step-by-step colour sequences and all of them have over 1000 photographs providing inspiration, practical teaching and failsafe guidance.
REFERENCE & PASTIMES
This season offers a particularly impressive range of quality family reference, all with an unsurpassed level of design and visual content.
